how do you convert a Windows Media Audio/Video file to DVD format to put in your pendrive and watch in DVD player

my dvd player plays WMA files but get a program to convert it to mp3 if it wont work (might be able to do that with windows media player)(try adding.mp3 at the end of the file instead of .wma).most video files are avi (some players support divx avis).most formats can be converted to dvd using dvdflick.
