How to make handbrake change only DTS audio file on a video and not change any video (MKV) setting or quality, or is there something faster to use?

I viewed all you youtube vids and it refers more to video compressions. I tried changing some setting but dont get results im lookin for. At times handbrake says a 2hr video has been converted in only seconds and when i view the vid, it only converted 11 seconds of choppy unplayable video. Using latest version from your site. Just trying to play a HD video on my TV that does not support DTS. Thanks.

Im playing it through my Sharp TV from an external hard drive that is connected bye a USB 3.0 cable. The video plays PERFECT, EXACTLY how I want to view it. But the screen displays "Audio is not supported", which is DTS. All other video I play the same exact way has no audio issues because they are with AC3 audio track. I researched on line and found that Handbrake can convert only the audio file. I do not want to compress or degrade the audio files in any way, I only need to convert it. I did look at your guides but cant seem to find the solution. I just need to know what settings I should have to only convert the audio files and leave the video files alone. I will keep looking through the guides. Please advise if you have a solution for my inquiry. Please let me know if this is enough info or if you need more. Thanks.

MKV CLEAVER is a front-end for mkvtoolnix-unicode-5.7.0 (windows), which will give you the tools you need to split the streams AND to put merge them back i believe. Maybe you could convert the Audio stream using foobar2000 and a choice plugin or two. Hope this helps.
