I bought a galaxy nexus online that turned out to be stolen. Now it is hanging on the stolen list. What are my options to free up this issue?

It is on the CDMA network

Ignore the other "jail" posts. Where did you purchase the phone from, and what form of payment did you use? If the company/person will not give you a refund, go through your credit card/paypal/etc to get the money back due to stolen goods being sold.

OK, obviously, youre not going to go to jail... lol Not your fault it was stolen. If you have a service provider, Id contact them and Im sure they can advise. Otherwise, call the company that manufactures the phone. One of those two will know who to call or contact.

if you brought it not knowing that it was stolen then legally you might be able to do something in the way of getting a refund and the seller charged.seriously speak to a lawyer.

phones can have all locks removed.some places/people charge a fee.
