i have a packard bell laptop it has HD connections how do i watch movies i have downloaded onto the laptop on my phillips lcd tv

Here is a real puzzle.

Hmmmmm ... that the HD output from the laptop and plug it in to the HD input on the TV.

Can you manage it from here on your own? Do you need instructions on how to play the movie on your laptop??

Or u could treat the LCD tv as a external monitor for the lap top.
