I have an HP computer when I boot without the CMOS battery the machine works properly , when I put back the CMOS battery back the screen goes black

Boot into the BIOS. Find were it says "Restore factory settings" Hit enter then exit with saving option. Do that without that battery. Then after saving it, shutdown the computer, and replace the cmos battery with a NEW one. See if that works for you.
Will try to do that but on the same note , I thought when the CMOS battery runs out of power the computer will loose time , mine is not losing any time Any way will ty youre method Dmite30.
will lose time then date if battery was dying so not battery power issue. make certain battery was not put in reverse or the cmos jumper is still in clear mode.
