you will have to convert em to DVD format and burn to a disc or get your self a media player such as a WDTV, burning DVDs are a thing of the past
ya can get a budget one such as the NBOX but make sure it plays the MKV container, spend a few bucks and get one that outputs to a home cinema in DD5.1 or DTS, DVD players are falling by the wayside, the media player you can put what you want on em, if you get my meaning without the hassle of converting files to different formats
i tryed a mkv on my dvd player but it didnt support the video resolution (think most mkv are high definition).convert it make sure its in a format your dvd player supports and it should work.
They are and usually using the x264 codec to encode, most DVD players support AVI/divx via a usb stick and thats about it, the MKV format is better, but for me its media players all the way, converting, burning DVDs is to long and costly
ConvertXtoDVD will work for converting/burning an MKV file to DVD or as user MICKAH suggested a media player like WDLIVEPLUS. Most media players support just about every file type out there with no need for a DVD player.
