Im getting the below message in my windows media player, when im trying to play an audio file "The Audio Codec idebtified by the format tag A104 is

Some media players are picky on what they want to play. What might work if it doesnt play is to download extra codec packs or try a different media player:

x86(32bit) windows codecs:

http://www.afterdawn.com/software/audio...w.cfm/v1_2_4422

x64 (64bit) windows codecs:

http://www.afterdawn.com/software/audio...4.cfm/v1_2_4422

For a media player try media player classic:

http://www.afterdawn.com/software/audio..._9_1__20080127_


There might be a 64 bit version depending on your version of windows. If thats the case just type the software name in the search bar.

This site is pretty versatile for that stuff. If not, Google wont hurt.

P.S- To stop compatibility issues with the codecs it's best to have only one codec pack installed.

You can also go to the top of the media player and right click then select tools then options then file types.Then select all then apply.Then click ok and see if they play after that.Either that or you need to install a codec pack like MGEdit suggested.

im using klite codecs on windows media player.like MG said use a codecs pack.
