Ive just get an iphone 3GS and my version is 3.1.3. ive got it from a friend and there were applications installed on it.
I would like to know if i can upgrade the iphone software and whcih version must i upgrade.i would also like to know if it is recomended to upgrade as i dont want to restore later coz i would lost the application whic have been downloaded by my friend.thanks for ur help

In the settings you should have an option to update. Click that, if it says update available, install it. If it says no update available, then there is no update. Not that hard. and I dont own anything apple. Apple is a bunch of greedy F@*ks.

Would it not make good sense to contact the MAKER of your phone with a question like this???
