Ive recently bought a LG HB806TGW Blu-Ray Home Theatre System, and am looking to make it region free. Ive tried all the standard LG tricks.

Did you consider region free info before purchase???

Anyway, Google for available info on your model. Lacking that it will be far easier to convert an occasional disc to make IT region free rather than converting your hardware that will not cooperate. Check the AfterDawn guides for disc conversion info.

I currently have a region free DVD player at home, so its not a big deal, I was just trying to get out of having 2 systems hooked up if I could.
