MPEG-PS video getting cut off when trying to convert?

Hello all

I have a video Im trying to convert to mp4 format. The video is in mpg format. When I look at the video details in Windows Explorer, its 11:35 seconds. When I watch the video in windows media player, it plays all 11:35. But when I open it with another media player, say VLC, or try to convert it in ANY program, it shows up as being 1:11. If I try to convert it, it only converts the first 1:11. When I play it in vlc, itll play the whole video, but the counter will never go above 1:11. It keeps resetting to 0:01 every time I navigate ahead in the video.

I opened up the video in MediaInfo and its showing up as an MPEG-PS, but its only saying its 1:11. I cant find a program that will recognize the entire 11:35. Anyone know how I can convert this thing?
