Make sure its getting power from the adapter, there should be a little charging light on your laptop. Also make sure that the dc jack didnt push in. Toshibas have a harness jack that is mounted with plastic and they will all break sooner or later. If its getting power then unplug it, remove the battery, remove the ram and hold down the power button for 60 seconds. Reinstall the ram, plug in the computer and see if the computer will fire up. My guess is that you either have a bad dc jack, bad adapter or bad motherboard.
