If you are using TMPGEnc Plus, then you will be happy to know that in the latest releases of it, there is a built in MPEG-2 plug-in. However, freeware versions of TMPGEnc don't have this plug-in currently. For that reason, you will need to download a .m2v plugin which you can get from here.
