Usb flash drive works in other computers but not in mine.

i have a sandisk 16 gb usb flash drive i works fine in other computers, but when i put in mine it makes a sound but when i go to look for it in computer nothing there.In devices and printers it shows as firebird usb flash device i right click on it i check properties then it shows sandisk says this device is working properly.i have a usb mouse thats working fine a 1 tb portable hard drive thats works,other flash drives, i even tried the flash drive in all the usb ports. I dont know what else to try. any help is appreciated.

Go into administrative tools-computer management-disk management-if you see it there check its got a drive letter if not give it one,weird i know however ive had it happen to me

Sounds like it might be a USB power issue, try another port, if that fails take it another PC backup your data then format it to NTSF.
