Have you tried reading the manual for you phone or contacted their support services? Sounds like you need to install a program like Adobe Flash Player maybe for it to play them.

That phone supports playback of two file types, 3gp and mp4; to play other movies, you will have to install flashplayer. Note, 3gp is smaller in size then mp4; Id suggest a video converter to convert your files to play back on that phone.

MORE NOTES and OPINION.....
Sadly .3gp is poor quality, you might save time buying an old droidX or HTC as standalone media player, but cell providers can lock out phone use, while some manufacturers lock out wireless, unless you pay for their service. This means you might have to unlock or flash the phone to open its usability. Which means you could also have a nice paperweight!
