what is VIA/S3G display driver? Do I need it on my computer?

VIA/S3G apart from being a graphic driver is also a ethernet card driver im not sure if the two are combined,you can leave it there it shouldnt cause any issues if you are now using a pcie graphic card,if you decide to delete it,it would pay to use a free driver backup utility or better still make an image of C drive with say easeus backup tool its free for personal use

yes you need it at that is your videocard which displays the information on your screen.
