What setting do I need to change on a apple airport extreme gen-1 to connect RCA Wifi steam box. RCA unable to connect by WPS. Can any1 help?

Does any1 know what settings I need to change to connect my wifi apple airport extreme generation 1 so it will be able to let a RCA streaming media player connect? The Airport does not have a button to push when trying to auto connect. Message from RCA states unable to connect to you network, please check you network settings. Any help would be appreciated!
