When I just start DVDFlick I can get to as far as making adjustments and then the DVDFlick will stop. I have uninstalled/reinstalled many times, help
Windows Vista 2007
Service Pack 2
The screen will fade and the message says: DVDFlick has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available and at the bottom - the close program button. I love this program but have struggled with this for a long time. Please help me if you can. Thank you so much.

Thanks so much for your help. My first experience with asking a question has been so positive. I actually found the answer to my own question. Thanks to a YouTube video.
Right click "My Computer"
Select "Properties" in drop down menu
Select "Advanced System Settings"
Click on "Settings" under "Performance"
Click on the "Data Execution Prevention" tab
Click on "Add"
Find the program you are having problems running
Click on it to highlight it
Click on "Open"
Click "OK" to close this window
Click "OK" to close this window
Now test the program, you should not have any more problems running it.

It sounds like there is a problem with your computer and not with DVDFlick.Windows Vista is known to cause a lot of conflicts with other software.Try installing this program and see if it helps.

try running the program in compatibility mode or see if theres a crash report in flick or windows that points to source of the issue before adding more software in the hopes it repairs anything, better still dump it & get a program that gets updated regularly
