Windows 98SE...installed usb drivers but cant seem to get usb recognition, particularly on and HP 3500C scanner...what can I try?

good luck. Most likely the printer isnt compatible with windows 98.

use a linux distro instead,puppy would be a good start for limited hardware or search distro watch
