321Studios released a new version of their popular DVD to DVD-/+R/W backup tool, DVDXCopy that allows 1:1 copies of DVD movies to be made on recordable DVD discs (DVD-9 discs will be split to two recordable DVDs).
New version adds various features, including highly anticipated official PAL support for European/Australian/etc customers, possibility to use Ahead's Nero as a burning application instead of the integrated GEAR burning engine, full chapter selection on how to split the discs, etc.
321Studios also announced a new affiliate marketing policy. From now on, they will dismiss all the affiliate commissions earned by affiliates who use spam or so-called "opt-out" lists. This has to be a good thing -- commercial DVD ripping spam emails are one of the biggest part of the daily spam amount I receive to my inbox.
