Android continues to top market share and data usage in U.S.

Nielsen has revealed the latest U.S. smartphone market share, and Android continues to lead the pack.
Overall, 37 percent of Americans now have a smartphone, with 36 percent of those users running Android.
Apple held second place at 26 percent with its iPhone, while RIM held third with 23 percent for its BlackBerry devices.
Windows Phone 7 moved into 1 percent share, months after launch.
As for data usage, Nielsen pored over 65,000 monthly bills and saw that Android users run about 582MB of data per month, compared to 492MB for iPhone users.
