On Friday, Facebook upgraded its Instagram photo-sharing service to support video.
The service now allows 15 second clips to be uploaded, including 13 filters. Twitter-owned rival Vine allows for 6 second videos.
Instagram announced this weekend that within 24 hours of the upgrade, 5 million videos were uploaded to the service.
During peak hours, users uploaded around 40 hours of video per minute.
Instagram has over 130 million users on iOS and Android.
