Samsung used their latest Unpacked event to unveil the Galaxy Note 3.
The latest model of the phablet is slimmer, bigger, lighter and more powerful, an impressive feat. On the design side, the bezels are much slimmer, and the edges are sharper, a marginal move from previous devices.
Samsung's latest has a 5.7-inch SuperAMOLED 1080p display with 368 ppi pixel density, 151.2mm x 79.2mm x 8.3mm dimensions, a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, (or 1.9GHz Samsung Exynos Octacore if you are in Europe), Android 4.3 with TouchWiz, a 13 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11ac, LTE Category 4, a 3,200 mAh battery and an LED/IR combo making the phone into a controller.
Besides better battery life (up to 40 percent improved), the device is also lighter at 168g and there is a new and improved version of the S-Pen. The camera has 4K video recording capabilities and Samsung says the new CRI LED flash will significantly improve low-light photography.
The device will go on sale on September 25th.
