Nintendo sets date for DS handheld console launch in Europe Gaming Company Nintendo has said it will launch its new DS handheld console in Europe on March 11th which is a Friday. It will be prices at about €149 (£100 in the UK) and will debut alongside 15 games which will cost about £20 or £30 each. The US price was $150, the difference being largely covered by import duties and sales tax, included in the European prices but not the headline US figure.
