CloneDVD updated to v2.9.1.1 SlySoft has updated its popular DVD backup software, CloneDVD, to v2.9.1.1. CloneDVD has been particularly popular on AfterDawn, adding up to a very decent figure of more than 435,000 downloads. SlySoft constantly updates its products to be compatible with the latest releases, meaning you can backup your investment in the latest DVD movies available.
Slysoft is also currently offering a discount of 20% on all titles until August, 12th 2007. To get the 20% discount, enter "carnival" (without quotes) into the coupon box at the bottom of the check-out form while buying any SlySoft software.

Here is the short changelog..

  • Fix: Bug introduced in 2.9.1.0, chkdsk could fail on system partition under Windows 2000/XP
  • Fix: Bug introduced in 2.9.1.0, registration did not work on Windows 98/ME
  • Fix: Bug introduced in 2.9.1.0, "Init ElbyCDIO failed" error under Windows Vista with UAC enabled
  • Some minor changes and improvements

Seems to me they have had some kewl bug fixes to help with older versions of Windows.
