Nintendo to release Pokemon Black & White in U.S. in March Nintendo and Game Freak launched their latest Pokemon games (Black and White) on September 18th in Japan, to strong critical reviews and massive pre-order sales figures.
Today, the company has announced the eventual U.S. launch of the games will be on March 6, giving fans something to look forward to.

Pokemon, since its launch in the 90s, has long been one of Nintendo's biggest cash cows, bringing in strong sales for every new iteration of the franchise.

The latest games have all-new Pokemon, a fully revamped visual style, new ways to connect online, and even new battling options, giving the series a serious makeover for the first time in years.

In Japan, the game sold 2.63 million copies in its first 48 hours. Currently, the game is nearing 5 million sales in the nation.

I've already played and beaten pokemon black. The roms have been out a long time. There are usually groups that work on translating the text so it wasn't that hard to find an English patch for it. Other than the new pokemon I didn't see all that much difference between it and the previous versions as far as gameplay. Also I remember a time when the pokemon use to be cute. They are now usually ugly as hell and their evolutions aren't improvements to that. I didn't like any of the pokemon in this game. Most of them were hideous :-/
