Amazon adds thousands of CBS TV episodes to streaming platform Amazon has signed a new agreement with CBS that will Amazon Prime users access to 2000 new TV episodes.
The deal includes full seasons of newer content like "Numb3rs" and "Medium" along with older content like "Star Trek."

Amazon Prime costs $79 per year and gives users free access to all the streaming content and free 2-day shipping on all items they purchase.

The Prime library now has over 8000 movies and shows, small in comparison to Netflix's more established 20,000-strong library.

With the new deal, Amazon is no longer expected to bid for on-demand streaming platform Hulu.
