New record set, 13 game consoles played in 60 seconds Just a week after late-night TV host Jimmy Fallon set the record for most video game consoles played in 60 seconds, Ohayocon Tournament Coordinator Ryan Sullivan of Ohio has shattered the record.
Fallon played 9 consoles, while Sullivan played 13.

The consoles and games were as follows:

Super Nintendo- Super Mario World
Wii- Wii Sports Resort (100 Pin Bowling)
Xbox 360- Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition
Gamecube - Super Smash Bros. Melee
NES - Legend of Zelda
Dreamcast - Crazy Taxi
Playstation - Gex
Genesis - Sonic The Hedgehog
Xbox - Halo 2
PS2 - Namco Museum 50th Anniversary (Rolling Thunder)
Sega Saturn - Revolution X
PS3 - Tekken 6
Atari VCS - Missile Command

There are a few specific rules to the record, which include that you "must make forward progress in each game, you may not play any type of video game console more than once, you must use consoles (handheld games and arcade model games not permitted) and you must provide definitive video evidence.

Here are the videos:

LMFAO WOW. This has to be one of the dumbest records, you just set up the console game to a position so you can "progress foward" then move to the next console.

I would expect nothing less, from Jimmy Fallon.
That guy is just plain weird.

Give Craig Ferguson a chance. MUCH more entertaining!

If you think it's lame, you should set your own world record on our site. As long as it's quantifiable, beatable, and there's media evidence, anything goes. Thoughts?

I don't get the concept of consoles in the first place.
A PC will do so much more.

Games, you can adjust video and audio.

You can tinker with the PC performance parameters if you have the right hardware.. CD, Blu-ray and DVD. Excellent sound, expandability. Somethings consoles lack in.

Jeff, I for one don't want to deal with downloading patches, bugs, and pc crashes. I also don't want to deal with the marketing schemes that involves upgrading your video card every time a new game comes out. While games will always look better on PC, the fact that "It just plays" on consoles, I can sit on my couch and use my tv and my surround sound system, will always win my vote.

Regarding this video, it seems flawed. Does it state how long he must play each game? What constitutes "Playing"? This is where records get stupid. If the rules state unmeasurable requirements then it doesn't work.

What no Turbo Grafix 16? WTF!
