Ashton Kutcher indie Steve Jobs movie to start filming next month

Earlier this month, Variety reported that actor Ashton Kutcher will play former Apple CEO Steve Jobs in an independent biopic directed by Joshua Michael Stern.
There are more details today on the biopic, which is set to begin filming next month, when Kutcher goes on break from "Two and a Half Men." The film will be independent of the Sony Pictures blockbuster that is based on the best-selling Walter Isaacson book that was released just a month after the entrepreneur's death.

For now, the working title of the movie is "Jobs: Get Inspired," which is horrendous but will be changed before final release.

The film will cover the years of 1971 to 2000, right before the company made it huge with the release of the firs-generation iPod.

Sony's movie will not start filming for another year.

oh... yay... Can't wait to miss this outstanding fanboy hardon happening. Oh what mythical surprises await us?

Probably just another docudrama that'll have to be waded through & virtually dismissed as being 80% loosely based on truth. Like any other movies of this kind, people who were there will either pan or praise the movie given their depiction in the film with regards to the protagonist. In this case Jobs.

I see yet another waste of production time & value here & no prevailing good to humanity whatsoever. Time to move on.

Give it a couple more years & you just about have me right there!

Long Frizzed out hair, limping around, frumpy... I just use profanity like it's good on a salad & take no prisoners. Something not really allowed in the hallowed halls of this fine forum, but one does what they can...
