Grand Theft Auto V is Coming Spring 2013 - Pre-order from Nov 5 Rockstar Games confirms rumors of Spring 2013 launch.
Earlier today, UK retailer GAME had let the cat out of the bag on the launch window for Rockstar Games' hotly anticipated Grand Theft Auto V. A tweet from one of its branches urged consumers to come on down and pre-order the game now, while also showing a picture of some promotional material.

News on Grand Theft Auto V was expected in November anyway, but with two leaks of this kind in the past three days, Rockstar may have been forced to officially confirm the release window today.

"Today, we're proud to announce that Grand Theft Auto V is expected to launch worldwide spring 2013 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3," Rockstar Games confirmed.

"Starting next week November 5, 2012, Grand Theft Auto V will become available for pre-order everywhere and fans can expect a host of new information to become available in November."

Developed by series creator Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto V takes place in a re-imagined, present-day Southern California in the largest and most thriving game-world we have ever created set in the sprawling city of Los Santos and for miles beyond – from the tops of the mountains to the depths of the ocean.

So I guess the PC owners are SCREWED.....AGAIN?

What a bunch of crap!

I hope the same thing happens with the PC release as happened the last time, not many people bought it six months after the stupid game was out! (Little wonder) As a PC owner and gamer I am upset over this.

Especially since there were rumors that Rockstar was making a PC version along with the Xbox and Playstation versions.

The reason I will not play on a console, is that you cannot do mods or have better graphics like on a PC.

The ultimate spit in the face for PC gamers is that these games are developed on PC then ported to consoles. So the PC version is developed first anyway.

I hope one day console owners get treated equally to PC owners. You know, with the ac tivation codes that don't work, support forums that take weeks to get a reply from, down registration servers, Securom, unsellable game once code is used... that kind of thing.

I think i've had it with their games. I couldn't even finish 4. those damn racing missions and the "catch the guy" missions. It was the same thing over and over and over again. And the multiplayer was complete garbage. IMO

Looking forward to next fall when the good version comes out...not sure I'll buy it through...would hate to support their model of delayed pc release.
