Report: Fifth generation iPad, iPhone 5S expected by May According to the hit-or-miss Taiwan-based Digitimes, manufacturers are increasing their demand for Apple chips for an early launch of the fifth-generation iPad and also the iPhone 5S.
The sources, which are supposedly Apple suppliers, are preparing for launches of the new devices by May of next year.

Reads the report: "Apple is expected to introduce its next-generation iPad and iPhone series around the middle of 2013, which will boost demand for ICs in particular communications related chips during the latter half of the first quarter, according to the observers."

Component orders will rise significantly between March and April of next year, adds the site.

As has been the rumor, Samsung will no longer supply all of the A-series chips seen in iOS devices, with Apple moving production to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC).

Blah blah blah, Samsung Galaxy S, Galaxy S2, Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4 (predicted early 2013). Galaxy Premier (almost the same phone), and this is only one range of their phones.

They are all at it. Look how aggressively Laptops, TV Sets and DVD Players are released with little difference. It is ok for you to not like Apple but they are only doing the same as everyone else.

Android is evolving faster than iOS, but more importantly in the specific case of the Galaxy line, they are getting bigger and more powerful at astounding rates. The new Note has a f**king 5.5" screen, the new iPhone has a screen that is only a hair larger than the screen in my 3-year-old moto droid (and that was almost too small even with a slide-out keyboard instead of onscreen)! As for Siri (AFAIK, the only improvement to iOS in a few generations), it doesn't seem to work much better than the free Android alternatives that work with older models.

The sales numbers speak for themselves...even with the mindless iDiots that buy anything with an Apple logo, Samsung is killing with the SIII and Note II...almost all of these are being sold to people who simply look for the best phone and have no brand loyalty at all.
