Yesterday we reported that Sony teased a PlayStation event for February 20th, fueling the flames that the company will unveil its next PlayStation console this month.
According to Wedbush video game industry analyst Michael Pachter, Sony "is 100 percent certain to announce the PlayStation 4" at the event.
The analyst cites channel and retail checks for his certainty.
Sony's "Orbis" (PS4) will feature a high-end graphics chip from AMD that will allow games to be rendered at up to 240 frames per second.
Additionally, the analyst says the NYC "presentation is expected to focus on Sony's effort to deliver better integration with its entertainment properties and the ability to shift content off the device to the Internet."
