Sony Computer Entertainment has released the latest mandatory software update for the PlayStation 4, version 1.62.
The update is a full 336MB but there is little information provided in the change log.
Sony says with the update, "operation quality during use of some PlayStation 4 software has been improved."
There is no update to the console's UI, so it appears it really is just a large-sized patch to tweak performance.
