IRS misses Windows XP upgrade deadline, must pay millions to Microsoft for security patches

IRS misses Windows XP upgrade deadline, must pay millions to Microsoft for security patches The U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has confirmed that it could not migrate all of its computers from Windows XP in time for the April 8th support end-of-life, and will now have to have Microsoft millions of dollars for security patches.
Microsoft ended public security patches for the 13-year-old operating system last week, but will still offer private patches for companies that pay for extra support. Without the patches, systems running XP are vulnerable to being exploited and attacked.

Of the IRS's 110,000 computers, 52,000 have been upgraded to Windows 7, but the agency could not raise the additional $30 million needed to migrate the rest. Microsoft announced the end-of-life dates for XP back in 2008.

The new commissioner of the IRS, John Koskinen, said the agency had $300 million in IT projects on hold due to budget cuts in the past years, including the migration to Windows 7. Because they could not complete the upgrades, the IRS will likely have to pay near $10 million for just one year of Microsoft "Custom Support" for the operating system.

As of now, Koskinen says they will take money from their enforcement budget to complete the move by the end of 2014.

$10million a year or 1 off payment of $30million, i'd pay the $30million and be done with it.Microsoft could charge them $20million next year or even more after the years support has run out.

The IRS is as corrupt as the whole Govt. of U.S.

1.- They let get away with taxes all the rich people that open overseas account to evade taxes: Those accounts never get freeze &/or those crocks never go to jail.

2.- Big Corporations like GE, Boeing, etc. [Other: NFL, etc) do not pay no even $1 USD in taxes and oppose to ever pay.
They think they own the Govt. & maybe the Country too. since they are the biggest Govt. contractors.

3.- Only the Middle Working Class pay Taxes & get audit by the IRS if they smell something wrong.
The Middle Class is the only class that carried the whole weigh of the country.

4.- This $M - IRS is a under the table deal, all they have to do is just let time pass bye & that's it. BOOM !!!
So $M can milk easy money form the Govt.

The whole system is a big stinky death fish.

The Illuminati Revenue Service will take it
From the U.S. Taxpayers

The Illuminati Revenue Service use the U.S. Middle Class as PURE WAGE-SLAVES.

The main problem is that The Middle Class are so happy to be the NEW GENERATION of SLAVES: paying to much attention to their brainwash "Good Credit" while the Financial System have them hanging by the balls.

As the Very Rich people, Big Corporations and Govt. lough openly of all of us ("90%") almost as "The Tyrant Gods from the -6th. century BC".

Plutocracy:

2 out of 3 Corporations don't pay taxes:

To make the whole history short:
People making +10M a year don't pay taxes !!!
'cos they are "Job-Creators" !?

How they can be Job-Creators while:
- 73% of all the U.S. people work in small business.
- 8% are Union employes.
& giving take:
- "6%" are the rich Class that "Do not work"
- "13%" are the Poor Class [In general for many reasons].

Beside:
All the Rich People DO-NOT like The Black President so they HAVE NOT Creating any jobs since.

Just saying.
