Plex launches free Movie, TV show streaming worldwide

Plex streaming service is supported by advertisements and features a wide range of content.
Available in over 200 countries across the world, Plex's new streaming service features thousands of titles including Movies, TV Shows, documentaries, sports, and more. There is no paid option for the service, it is ad-supported even if you are an existing & paying Plex Pass subscriber.

The service isn't filled with obscure titles either, its library includes content from Legendary, MGM, Lionsgate, Warner Bros., Gravitas, and many more.

It is available in almost every country in the world. There are some geo-restrictions in place for certain content but most is available everywhere. As for the ads you can expect to see, Plex says it will be about a third of the ads you would expect from cable TV.

The service works with Apple devices, Android devices, Amazon devices, Roku devices, Smart TVs, and so forth. For existing Plex users, the service is available a sidebar item "Movies and TV".

Well, yeah, you're going to see fewer ads on a new service anyway ^^' . Still, it's worth a look.

Really . Geo block in this day & age. Lame. Still worth a look i guess. It certainly can't be any worse than the crap on netflix. 3 months is all it took for me to see stuff i hadn't seen before. The rest of the movies & tv shows i either had or had already watched either months ago or years & didn't really want to rehash. That was around a year or more ago.. Edit: Content wise there appears to be a whole lkot less than netflix. Anyone else seeing the same. At most there's 280 titles if that due to double ups in the list of movie & tv shows. There's some movies i'll watch however , considering the amount of movies made for the last 40 years there ain't much to look at. Edit 2: Ok the movie list is limited too really old movies which are only a few. There are no ads if using a blocker. Turns out plex was originally a media server streaming for your own collection. Should you bother signing up. No it's a waste of time unless they get a dam sight more content as they say there are thousands of movies. That may be the case however they aren't on plex lol .Yes it is actually far worse than netflix content wise, it doesn't even come close, as i mentioned earlier there are fewer than 300 titles & there's only 2 tv shows
