SpyStudio v2.9.1

Vista / Win7 / Win8 / WinXP
SpyStudio can monitor applications use of registry keys, files etc. and highlight errors that can help to troubleshoot a crashing application.

Application crashes in Windows are some of the most common problems users will encounter, yet often times the remedy decided on is to uninstall an app and re-install it. This can be risky due to data and settings loss and it might not fix the problem. Besides, it's just plain lazy.

Using apps like SpyStudio you can monitor application calls and view them in a structured way. It even supports comparing traces between working and non-working apps (may be particularly useful if the same app is on another PC and working). To troubleshoot a virtual application you can compare the virtual application's trace with the base trace. Using this feature, you can see what is generating the issue.

For those of you who have used Sysinternals ProcMon (Process Monitor) for troubleshooting before, you'll be happy to know that SpyStudio can read ProcMon Logs and display them in a user-friendly way.

Best of all, SpyStudio is free for any use!

NOTE: For 32-bit Windows ONLY! For 64-bit Windows, download SpyStudio (64-bit) instead.
