University of Southern California announced today that they wont ban MP3 sharing tool Napster even that Metallica has sued them for letting students to distribute illegal material through their networks. They've made clear that since Napster itself isn't a way to just spread illegal material, more likely just a tool that makes it possible among similiar legal actions, they wont ban it.
