Napster, the biggest rival of Apple's iTunes, has released prepaid online music payment cards in the UK, in order to reach the under-18s. Teenagers are lucrative market for online music stores, but their payment options are limited as in most countries it is illegal for minor to get a credit card, which is normally required in order to use the stores.
Napster UK's prepaid online music purchase cards will be sold via Dixons, country's largest consumer electronics retailer. Napster launched similar prepay card mechanism in the United States last year.
