Stephen Colbert had the most retweeted tweet in 2010

Stephen Colbert, the popular political pundit, had the most retweeted tweet for all of 2010 for his commentary on the Gulf oil spill which started this summer.
Colbert, known as @stephenathome on Twitter, currently has 1.9 million followers.
The tweet in question, from June 16th, read:

"In honor of oil-soaked birds, 'tweets' are now 'gurgles.' http://bit.ly/cIhZNf

To honor Colbert, Twitter co-founder Biz Stone will present the TV-show host with a "Golden Tweet" award, to be presented on tonight's "The Colbert Report."
A few other notable celebrities (mainly musicians) topped the list, with Drake in second for "We always ignore the ones who adore us, and adore the ones who ignore us.," Lil Wayne in third for the tweet "Aaaaaaahhhhhhmmmmm baaaaakkkkkkkkkk!," Justin Beiber in 4th with "Te quiero mucho, mi amor," and Kanye West in 8th with "I'm sorry Taylor," days after ruining Swift's speech at the MTV awards.
