AT&T sold a lot more iPhone 5s than Verizon

Following both company's earnings reports, it has become clear that AT&T has sold a lot more iPhone 5 than rival Verizon has, so far.
For the quarter, AT&T's iPhone activations grew to 4.7 million, accounting for a hefty portion of the 6.1 million smartphones activated in total.
During the quarter, the company sold 1.3 million new iPhone 5s, double that of Verizon.
AT&T says they now have 44.5 million smartphones activated on their network, with the majority being iPhones.
