Rdio has announced today that they will offer free streaming music for a promotional period in 14 new countries.
For 6 months, the streaming service will now be available in the UK, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden.
Rdio has a library of 18 million songs and works through a desktop app or through your browser. As with other streaming services, Rdio has "creation and collaboration on playlists, a music discovery engine and the ability to share your music-listening habits in real time on Facebook and Twitter."
After the free listening period, the Rdio subscription service costs $5 per month for unlimited webs streaming or $10 for unlimited streaming, mobile streaming and offline listening.
