A new South Korean government report found that 41 percent of the country's mobile phone owners now use LTE.
The country's first LTE network was just deployed almost two years ago, making the figure more impressive.
Data, via the Science, Creative and Future Planning ministry, estimated 22.9 million LTE subscribers, up 2.19 million from just one month earlier.
South Korea's average broadband Internet speed is the fastest in the world, with an average speed of 14.2Mbps.
