CyberLink's PowerDirector video editor hits Android, Windows 8 tablets

CyberLink has announced the availability of its award-winning PowerDirector video editing suite on Android and Windows 8 tablets, available as a free download.
The PC version of the PowerDirector has been praised by publications covering the prosumer video editing tools market, and CyberLink had been pressed by customers to release versions for tablet PCs.
PowerDirector Mobile for Android and Windows 8 tablets offers a variety of key features, including:

• Drag-and-drop functionality to quickly import videos, photos and audio, as well as add effects, transitions and text
• The ability to trim, extend, order and split video and audio tracks
• A wide library of video effects, transitions and text titles to choose from
• The ability to easily save your projects on your device to continue editing later
• The ability to export your creations to amazing Full HD
• Built-in tools for immediate sharing to Facebook and YouTube
• Easy access to saved projects which are available right when the app is launched

CyberLink PowerDirector Mobile is available as a free download from Google Play Store for Android, the Microsoft App Store. Some features require in-app purchases to be unlocked fully.
