Ever since the introduction of a video iPod in 2005, iTunes has been offering TV shows and other content for sale. Not many users know however, that this is not the only way to get video content on your iPod. In fact, with pretty simple steps and even with freeware software, you can convert PC files (AVI, MPEG , WMV , RM, RMVB, DivX , ASF , VOB etc.) to MP4 files which will be iPod compatible. iPods will also accept AVC/H264 video content.
At AfterDawn we have a guide for converting video files to MP4 format for iPods using Free iPod Video Converter. As its name suggests it is completely freeware software, which makes it even better.
