3 years of enjoyable use from this player. I paid £40 in 2007 and the DVD drive has only just packed in.
I can still use the USB port though so the player lives on!
Certain "busy" images such as water, forests, smoke etc can cause a slowing of the framerate with the USB interface but this may be the device Im playing from (MP3 player, Sony NWD) and its a minor niggle.
Still think this was a bargain buy. Thanks, Philips!

For all Divx lovers out there look no further. The 5160 supports divx 4-6 including Divx Ultra. The icing on the cake is that it has a USB port on the front. Although the documentation on the Philips site states you an play MP3's and view photos through via USB you can watch movies also. I tested a 5160 and confirm playback was excellent. Oh and its also a multiregional player.
