This a superior processor for the price it is being sold at. Its is also multiplier unlocked. so if you have proper cooling solution may over-clock well upto 4.1 GHZ!!
I have personally done 3.9 ghz (with multiplier in BIOS). And if thats not enogh for you then why not try turning it into a quad-core! yes! it is possible. If you have the right mobo. you could have have a high-end 4.2 ghz quad core processor for the price of a mid-range cpu. notice although the core unlocking is not guaranteed I was lucky enough to get them unlocked. but since it can get real hot with all that extra load and I am on stock cooling and its 30-40c year round here. I am sticking to my stock conf.
I would HIGHLY recommend ASUS-M4A785TD-V EVO motherboard with this CPU.
