I had the Evga version of this. Sold it recently, as it still had lots of value and I needed the money.
I was able to play all my games MAXED. Oblivion all maxed out at 1920 x 1200. FEAR, Half Life 2, Prey at those settings as well. Ran Crysis buttery smooth with all high settings(Win XP) at 1280 x 960 and 1650 x 1080(kinda pushing it).
It is a bit overpriced as of now. The new 8800GTS 512MB G92 out-performs it by a tiny bit and is much cheaper.
If you already have one, you won't need to upgrade for a couple years still. So keep it unless you absolutely NEED the most power you can get.
It is overkill for almost every game ever made. Crysis and Oblivion are the only ones I've seen even stutter on this card. And that was at 1920 x 1200 with maxed settings.
