That is because most US porn is made with the male focus in mind. You have a few directors out there such as Andrew Blake and Candida Royale who set their bar a little higher. They try to make a more stylized story/fantasy setting. Candida (Director) makes her material with more of the female focus in mind. She used to be a mainstream porn actress, but is one of the few in the industry that is trying to change the whole perspective.

That "brings up" an angle that I hadn't thought of before. Seeing the HD stuff on Discovery channel is really a good way of selling the whole High Definition idea.

If some of the porn that I've seen (and I've seen my share) looks that crisp, I wont say that I'll get turned off of porn, but I really might have to raise my standards to watching reputable studio porn.

Stuff like Black Street Hookers, Little Latin Angels and the like just don't seem like they would stand up to the likes of Vivid.
