Very less likely that it will have backwardcapabilty on the current games on the ps3, unless the makers of thoses games send out a rumble update through the PSstore.

The reason 360 is gettign the RPG's is because it is soo much easier to code for it, and more ppl have 360's and if u go exclusive M$ do all the PR for the game! Where as sony are havign trouble coding their own 'Home' prodject, how are other companies ment to code on time. GTA4 release next year now, guess why because codign for ps3 has taken so logn that tehy still havn't even finsihed it!

Yes it will be backward compatible i seen a list some where that had the list of games so far & Madden was one of them.

Couple things:
1. Will you fanboys either shut up or get your facts straight and actually look at all sides of the issue?!

The only rumble I wanted on the PS3 is the same one they had for PS2. Anyone remember the game with the second controller that was a vibrator?

The game was pretty damn trippy, but the vibrator was hilarious.

It was supposed to promote video games as a relationship thing, to get your girl interested in you playing your PS2.

say what you want 360 fanboys but rockstar is now playstation 3 exclusive after gta4.it was on afterdawn!lol and yes its delayed by both consoles because both codings are different.the dual layer dvds that xbox 360 uses are horrible for game storage(17gb=resistance).blu-ray is also different so that will require work.DUAL SHOCK IS THE NEWS PEOPLE!

GTA4 being delayed is a blow to Microsoft because after Halo 3 & Mass effect what other titles that are exclusives that are going to be must have titles ? This is what happens when you depend on 3rd Party Dev's.I don't even see why anyone that have a 360 say this holiday season is going to be a big one? More hype from Microsoft than anything.Sony has Haze,URT4,Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.All releasing around the same time as Mass Effect.On top of that Heavenly Sword,Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction,L.A.I.R,war hawk,& Folklore that are going to help with sales also this holiday season.All the other so called hit titles are going to be multi-platform Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare,Assassin's Creed(i really think this is going to be delayed again,Need for Speed: Pro Street,Conan,& Army of Two.
