New guide: AC3Filter Installation and Configuration

Today we have another new guide, this time on installing and configuring AC3Filter. Like most of the tools I've been writing about recently, AC3Filter is free and yet full featured and quite competitive with commercial alternatives.

In addition to decoding AC-3 (Dolby Digital) audio as the name suggests, it also supports a variety of other sources including DTS and MPEG Audio.

AC3Filter Installation and Configuration

AC3Filter is a free Surround Sound processor for Windows which includes the ability to not only Decode digital Surround formats such as Dolby Digital and DTS, but also perform realtime processing to adjust the output level (volume) and digital range Compression (DRC) of surround sound streams during playback.
