30 December 2008 19:45 by Andre "DVDBack23" Yoskowitz | 1 comment

Blu-ray players from LG add YouTube, CinemaNow LG has announced that their upcoming 2009 lineup of networked Blu-ray players will include not only content from Netflix but also from CinemaNow and YouTube.

The electronics company will show off the new options next week at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

"Future LG Network Blu-ray Disc Players will also offer consumers a variety of ways to enjoy more than 12,000 choices of movies and TV episodes from Netflix," LG added.

"As millions of U.S. consumers view and download movies or TV shows through the Internet, they are demanding easier ways to access content and more home entertainment options,"
noted Tim Alessi, director of product development for LG Electronics USA.

The CinemaNow partnership will add 14,000 titles to the already 12,000 titles Netflix offers through their "Watch Instantly" streaming service.

of us can have the 2.0 update on our superblue ray players.
They have taken to long to give us this update.I you have one of these players start sending e-mails everyday to them and maybe they will get off there A$$ and take care of us. HA HA
Sorry but I am sick of the companies out in the world now fell they can take your money and move on. Well it needs to stop and it not just LG it's alot of the companies out there.
